Transportation to/from Suvarnabhumi Airport to View Talay Condo in Jomtien Beach Private taxi: 1,200 Baht including all tolls (1.5 hrs duration) -- recommended, good deal.
I highly recommend a private airport taxi pick-up at the rate of 1,200B (including all tolls. This option is quick, easy, and very good value for money. Once you clear customs, the driver will meet your airplane with your name on a sign, then deliver you straight to your check-in with me at View Talay Condo. I will schedule this service for you in advance with your reservation. Let me know that you want the private airport taxi pick-up, and give me your arrival/departure details with your reservation. Airport Express Bus: 124 Baht (1.5 hours to 2 hours duration)
Departure times: 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 9pm Pick-up: 1st floor of Airport Building between Gate No. 7-8 Goes to: Jomtien bus station, which is located directly in front of View Talay 1, right next to the Jomtien Food Mart, across the street from Pan Pan (makes the best pizza). This service is new this year in 2009. From the shops downstairs in the condo, as well as many other shops in Pattaya/Jomtien, you can order a Bangkok city meter taxi from View Talay Condo to anywhere in Bangkok, or to the airport for 800B plus tolls (usually 60B). 3 people would fit comfortably in the car. The 800B price is only available to Bangkok, not from Bangkok. You should reserve this taxi with the agents beforehand (at least 1 day ahead of time). You get this good deal because the Bangkok city taxis don't want to go back to Bangkok empty. Private taxi: 1,000 Baht including all tolls (1.5 hrs duration) The driver will meet you at the lobby/ground floor area of the condo at a scheduled time. He or she will take you in comfort direct to Pattaya. Price includes all tolls and fees. Let me know anytime if you want this return taxi reserved.
